Frequently Asked Questions …………

Personalised nutrition is when a diet and supplement programme is tailored your specific, individual needs. No two people have the same requirements and our programmes are built to help you to overcome your symptoms and health issues. It addresses the underlying physiological imbalances that might be contributing to your symptoms and illness. Nutrition works at a cellular level and deficiencies or imbalances can lead to many health issues. Personalised nutrition is also referred to as nutritional therapy, lifestyle medicine, functional nutrition and nutritional medicine.
Most likely. You would be surprised at how effective the right nutritional programme can be for a host of conditions. You might also be surprised to learn of how dietary factors, nutrient imbalances and deficiencies could have contributed to your current health issues. If you are still unsure that nutritional medicine is right for your specific health concern then get in touch and ask us about it.

At the first consultation we discuss your current symptoms and your health history to identify any deficiencies and imbalances that are affecting your health. By the end of this consultation we will have put an initial programme in place for you to start your journey back to health. An initial consultation lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Follow up consultations are a chance for us to review your progress and make any necessary changes to the programme to ensure that you are on track to reach your goal. These sessions last between 45 minutes and one hour.

Generally, I leave two months between follow-ups, sometimes I may need to see you sooner and we will discuss this at the first consultation. In-between consultations feel free to email me if you have any concerns or questions about your current programme.
